PQ - I've seen worse... The good news is that can probably be removed with a orange pad and some Swirl and Haze Remover.

Yes, it's a good thing you used the rubbing compound wrong or that damage would have been worse. That should clean up with some work and have you back to that glorious shine that Adam's products can do for your ride. You dodge a serious, mega-ton wedgie.
