THANKS ANDY & JUSTIN AT AAC!! Afterburners installed this weekend!

After some careful splicing and saudering in a space that can be described as tighter than a prudes rear end, I finally achieved success! I really love the way the Afterburners look. T Taps were just a little difficult to get in there, so I opted for the saudering route. Worked like a charm. As you can see, my bezels are not on, Andy at AAC has painted them for me and I am still awaiting those, along with my rear dual intensity illuminated Amber rear bowtie (also blacked out). new pics will come when those are installed.

It has been a fairly productive week for me and my Pumpkin...got some cosmetics finished as well. Of course that kinda meant that I was holed up in the garage afew times....at the expense of my family's dinner....ooops. Thank goodness for hotdogs and french fries!

I tried to take a picture of the tails further away with my iphone, but it wouldn't take a good picture..it blurred the neon tubes and you could not see them. I can try to take another photo for you.

Honestly, I'm not sure. Looking at them, they seem softer. Most of the pics I have seen here on the treads are the LED Afterburners..mine are the neon tubes... I wanted a less "dotted" look. I don't think the picture does them ANY justice. You really have to see them in person, they are HOT! Lots of compliments.

Can you take a picture of them with the brakes off? I'd like to see the contrast when they are off. (Or are the brakes off and they just appear on due to the picture?)

These pictures are with the brakes off, lights on..I will take afew pictures of her with the parking lights, lights on and brakes on. I'll try to get them up today. I think part of the problem with the quality of the picture is that I'm taking them with my iPhone.
