Inspired by the 1969 Camaro or not, the 2010 - 2013 tail lights (and the entire rear for that matter) look MUCH better.

And while the rear of the Z/28 looks better than the SS, the Z/28 is not practical (and likely far from affordable) for the vast majority of Camaro owners/potential owners.

"Growing on me" is a nice term for something that isn't very good but you are just learning to live with it.

Chevy seems to have forgotten how to make a nice rear for a car. The previous Camaro rear was awesome. Now it is OK. The previous Corvette rear was OK. Now it is hideous.

I am worried about the 6th Gen Camaro where the Chevy designers will have flexibility to screw up the rear as much as they want.

They should all look like the Z28 lights, but they should not have wrapped around.

Now that you show this picture of how the new tail lights are similar to the '69 tail lights, I bet a whole lot of people are going to change their mind and all of the sudden love the new refreshed Camaro

LOL some of these posts.

Has anyone noticed that after yesterdays official reveal, the like/dislike ratio SEEMED to have balanced out from 63/37 to roughly 50/50?

Sounds just like the 50/50/80 rule Scott talked about. In a few weeks/months 80% of the 50% that dislike it will begin to like it. Some, of course, will be too stubborn to admit

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... my eye sees beauty in those new lights. I like 'em better than my current four sleepy- eyed moons.
