I get to drive one of the cars in this event for Moritz Chevrolet I can't wait I'll post the route if I can get that info before Friday. We are suppose to be in Dallas at Victory Park at 7:30am and scheduled to hit the road at 9am. Come out to take a look if you can.

Here's the story:

Scheduled for April 24th your North Texas Chevy Dealers will conduct a unique caravan event, featuring the highly anticipated 2010 Chevy Camaro. More than 40 brand-new Camaros will parade across the Metroplex as a prelude to one of the most exciting vehicle launches in recent history.

Scheduled to start in and around Victory Park in downtown Dallas, television partner WFAA-TV, Channel 8, will provide coverage throughout its morning show and will bid farewell to the Camaro Caravan as it begins its journey through selected destinations around Dallas.

The Camaro Caravan will continue its westward trek — via police escort — toward Fort Worth, targeting iconic destinations along the way. The Camaro Caravan is scheduled to end in Sundance Square, where the vehicles will be parked.

As the Camaro Caravan route and additional details are confirmed, your North Texas Chevy Dealer will provide you with updates, so you, too, can catch a glimpse as Camaro overtakes the Metroplex.

I'm just curious who's Camaro's these are exactly. Are they customer cars? Showroom V6's?

Showroom V6's, CTF's. Not customer cars unless customer gave permission.

some of the Orange cars that were spotted on 635 in dallas yesterday were V8's.Some of them had mail slots and some did not.

They are not customer cars I do know that we get to keep the one I drive back to sell. Not sure what I'm getting yet. Hopefully it will be a free for all and we can fight for the best one.

If it's all of those orange SS's that were on those car carriers a while back, then HOLY CRAP!! Imagine sitting at a stop light and seeing 40 2010 IOM SS Camaros drive by... I would s**t myself!!!!! JK. Hell, just seeing 40 Camaros would make my jaw drop off of my face!

One of my wife's girlfriend's was listening to the radio here in Dallas and told her that 50 2010 Camaro's are going to be in Ft Worth. I haven't heard anything like this on the radio myself but I have sat in the Red LS at the Dallas car show, the Fbodfather's Thor, and I really want to see the IOM Camaro up close. Has anyone around DFW hear anything about 50 Camaro's being in town? Again, I haven't heard this but the wife's friend told her so I'm hearing his third hand.
