By the way, if it's going to City, you may want to call them and ask them not to wash it. Mine looked horrible when I picked it up. Lots of dried drip spots and some scratches. Do it yourself if you can.

The swirls/scratches aren't that bad, and some are probably from the train ride, but it's annoying that I have to correct them... or maybe I'll just accept a little imperfection, since it's a daily driver for me.

Good to know! I already told them not to put on any of the dealer stickers or anything like that. I already gave them a call saying I say the status update and to see where it's at. You are probably right that if it hits the weekend, I won't get it till next week. I'm hoping they will move things along since I haven't exactly been too pleased with the wait!

My original dealer tells me that even the 10 Equinoxes he had stuck in the system have finally shipped as of today as well.
Perhaps whatever was causing the logjam has been cleared and all your cars will start to ship quicker.

Finally, after ordering my Vert back in Jan, having it built on 3-22, and fter giving up on the wait and buying a local car 4-27.....

It MADE IT TO THE DEALER.

03/24/2011 - (4106) Bailment released (vehicle has left plant property).
03/24/2011 - (4150) Invoiced (order is invoiced to the dealer).
04/27/2011 - (4200) Shipped (vehicle is shipped to the dealer or interim point of delivery).
05/01/2011 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.
05/01/2011 - (4800) Rail ramp unload. Vehicle has been unloaded from train.
05/02/2011 - (4200) Shipped (vehicle is shipped to the dealer or interim point of delivery).
05/02/2011 - (5000) Vehicle has been delivered to dealer.

Now someone else can have it.
