Thanks Steve!

BTW, SNL Performance has pretty much built this entire car so far and the attention to detail is incredible. Thanks to Steve and Dustin at SNL. Thanks for busting ass figuring out the P0606 code issue and enduring all the frustration.

BTW, SNL is also THE Monster Clutch Company. My car will be sporting a Monster twin or triple in the future as soon as my Mcleod has had enough!

Final update, here is what i think was the whole problem with the P0606 code and reduced power.

Electronic throttle parameters were remapped. Basically the gas pedal to throttle relationship had changed. According to DSteck "You have to be careful doing this, because if you tweak it too far, it'll error out the TAC module, which is inaccessible by EFI Live and HP Tuners. When you error out the TAC module, it trips P0606 and throws the car into reduced engine power as a safety precaution to prevent a runaway throttle condition (Toyota ring a bell?). All I did was return your throttle mapping to stock. Turning off the P0606 code doesn't stop the PCM from erroring out.

On another note, this past Saturday i really beat hard on the car....so much so that i actually felt kind of sick to my stomach.....and guilty for it. The car took it better than I.

Oh, and since then i no longer have the delay in fuel pressure to the gauge on the regulator and the car fires right up every time now...knock on wood

I cut 5 inches off the intake tube to the D1 and cleaned the filter to the D1 just now and it is more sick than before. It was basically uncontrollable above 2500rpm and more that about 69% throttle.

Huge thanks Go out to:

Awesome Bull, from what you had described that is the problem that I came across on 2 vehicles not tuning wise but failing parts. Enjoy your new power!

Final update! Since last Friday when beating on on the car and hitting 10+psi boost numerous times the car fires up instantly. The car even sat for 2 days and fired up immediately. I guess the huge rush of fuel in the regulator flushed whatever the problem.

Someone earlier said Pics were in order. Sorry, gagage pics but they will do for now

Im a big home brewer so i had to include my Keezer. Chock full of 4 kegs of quality homebrew....any Camaro5 member driving thru Wichita Falls let me know. Beers on Me!!!!

Final bump to give my Squash dual 400lph setup credit. Turns out it must have been the Aeromotive Pro series regulator. After beating on it a week ago no issues. The car sat for 3 days and today after work....key on then crank it up and it fires up immediately.

Thanks again Andy and Squash Performance!!!!

Update.....car/pcm/fuel system has been flawless for the last 2 months, 2000miles. It was reading real rich on my AFR gauge. PatG was never able to complete the tune due to the original PCM issues and he lives over 5 hrs south of my shop.

Anyway, lst weekend, i decided to swap from a 3.7" pulley to a 3.55" and add a ZR1 3bar MAP sensor and drive down to Victoria Tx to let Pat have at it in his environment at Kurt Decker's place (LSX Performance).

Pat updated the tune on 95 (93 blended with TORCO)octane without the meth turned on. Managed about 14lbs boost (200kpa) on the map sensor. No slip evident. Tune was real conservative at 10.8-11.0 afr by my choice. Made 754/708 on Kurt's Mustang dyno. I think it had 30-50 more left in it if we would have pushed the afr and tuned with the meth and cranked up the timing.

Car drove the 6.5 hrs back home flawlessly, even in the hour plus in Ft worth stop and go traffic on the way up to Wichita Falls.

Will convert to twin turbos at the end of the summer since my D1sc is holding me back.

I still would swap to a F1 (you need to anyway to feed that 427) if I were you to see what it does before making a switch to TT.

I think for all out power ...especially, north of 1000 rwwp turbos are the best for the street manner, lower iat, and power control hands down...Of course my opinion is biased
