Hurst "shifter" for the 6L80e?

How many of you would rather have your 6L80e electronic shift controls located on the shifter handle, rather than up at the steering wheel?

Haha! I am more or less interested in determining if there is a market for a "tap shift" shifter handle. I am hoping to gain insight in terms of demand.

Me! I liked the way it was set up on my G8 GT. I don't like paddle shifters on the wheel because I don't normally drive with two hands.

This thread received way more views than votes. Is anyone else interested or should we scratch the idea?

I want an "old School" style, dual gate, "his-n-hers"!

Chrysler has GM beat all to pieces on the manual shift. Just move the stock shifter left to down shift, right to up shift. No changing shifter positions. Our Magnum R/T shifter is sooooo easy. GM made it too complicated.

Pretty sure there is already another person on here that makes custom billet shifters for the auto with the buttons in it an I think a few other custom options you can add. That said I'm sure if Hurst would come out with something similar in their styling people would buy it.
