Anybody know the color of the first production ZL1?

The reprorts are that the first series of ZL1's were all the new Ashen Grey color. This is the new gray color supplied by BASF. This color reportedly replaced CGM. Only Rick Hendrick's sequence #69 will be painted carbon flash metallic like the 45th Anniversary Camaro. The first ZL1 VIN #0001 has got to go to a Chevrolet connected collector. No way that special VIN will be left to chance by Chevrolet - also may go into GM collection somewhere. Just thinking.

My guess is SILVER. I would not be surprised to see 001-002-003 all go to a collector but later be auctioned!

I thought I made a mistake once, but I was wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hendrick took #1 as well as #69. Scott asked you if you wanna see some pics of it. SAY YES PLEASE

#0001 is aledgedly going to a Carolina Dealership....but who or if its going to be sold to a retail customer??.....we'll have to wait and see.

No worries there. His enitre private collection (which we have seen) is all #1 Camaros, and they are exceptional, including the 5th gens. But yes, he is getting #1 as well

I just hope my VIN in within the first 69 - I got an ashen gray
