Ok here is my After dyno. I still need to work on the tune a bit. Total buzz kill thursday after getting off the Dyno a work truck lost a bungee cord that one end landed in my tire and the other end in my passenger making the door its Biiizzznatch. Off to the Body shop Tuesday to repair my door.

Max HP After 400 Max Torque after 358 So I picked up some power and Torque mind you this was a mustang dyno that reads low and we had some traction issues on the last pull at 5800 rpm. Next local dyno day we have here in town I will put it on a DynoJet to compare.

After talking with a respected tuner here on the forums. We both feel I am leaving a lot of power on the table. Car Is going to body shop for a few quick items and once out I will be at a Florida shop to have a retune. I think there is 30-50 hp left on the table. Once all is said n done I will post. But please people learn from me. Sometimes things are not perfect in the car game.

Ok Guys took the car to FSP today, let me tell you that Matt and his team are a great group of guys. I talked to a few tuners and felt he was the best match for me and my car. With him being semi local to me was a plus. I am so stoked. My previous hack of a tuner got me 400 rwhp and Matt got me to almost 480---479.9 so lets just round it up. We also hit 445ftlbs which I am very pleased with on the heart breaker Mustang Dyno. The only difference from this dyno and the last one was Matt's knowledge and a vmax tb which I did more for the response. Hold tight I will post videos and the Dyno chart. I am beyond happy!!! I would recommend anyone to talk with Matt n his guys for knowledge and a solid approach to making power with reliability.

Okay, quick question.

I've been watching with great interest, the many threads about performance increase from all the NA mods to the SC mods. My big question, is why no one talks of RPM's.

I mean if the HP can be increased and maintain the torque low down, why can't we keep the HP going a little higher in RPM. Say to a 7000 RPM redline. Keeping the engine in each gear a little longer gets you ahead of the other guy. It seems the LS3 engine is a little rev limited. Can that be fixed.
I mean my 69 Ram Air IV gto with the limited travel hydaulic lifters could do nearly 7000RPM. I ran and beat many a similar HP Cars because I could stay in each gear longer, putting more power to the ground for a longer perioid of time.

I want, want to modify my LS3 1LE to get more power but I want more useable RPM's.

I think the stock intake manifold is a limiting factor along with the stock bottom end. The real big issue I tossed around was the weight of these cars and the need for torque, and when you go increasing the rev range you shift the power up but you normally loss bottom end grunt with a high rev motor. I am no LS expert but I don't think our bottom ends are "that light" to spin to 7500 or so. My DZ302 will rev rev and rev but doesnt do much down low.

If it is a manifold limitation then that can be fixed. Also the bottom end. I just see alot of the car making the peak power around 6000, I would like to see a flatter power curve about 5000, but not falling off as much and useable to 6800 RPM's allowing shifts just past that. In the old days many a solid lifter super stock car did just that. They had plenty of torque. Besides for the street, (I didn't say that) the tremendous torque is not useable from a dig. At the track put on taller gears. Not looking for 7500 RPM's just 6800 to 7000.

By the way nice sounding video of that awesome summit white Camaro.
