No way can moving the activation speed do any harm to any part of the system.
If you have a problem and need to return for warranty simply put the stock tune back and take it in.

Not going to argue but I know of several tuned and having warranty work performed with no problems. Just got one back with a new trans to be re-tuned.
If you are not comfortable with it then dont do it.

I have L99 with muff delete and the car sounds great! I don't know if my shop did something different but I've gotten nothing but compliments on how it sounds with people riding with me.

GM can tell if the car has been tuned. There is a huge tech note that is posted somewhere on this site that says ANY change to the progamming from of the engines ECM or Trannies computer will void the entire drive train warranty.

I do not want to argue with any of you but giving people advice about tuning something one their car without them possible knowing they will lose their drivetrain warranty is not cool. You should state that when you say get it tuned out but you take a huge risk of losing your drivetrain warranty would be a better than to do than just saying tune it out.

A rattle and vibration sounds like something is loose on the exhaust. You need to find what is rattling and anchor it. Take it to a good exhaust place and they will put it on the lift with someone in it to hit the gas and hear where it is coming from. Even though you hear it when the AFM kicks in, it is probably doing it some when the car is running on a full 8 and can be pinpointed!
