They do run on weedends, i have heard of cars sitting a day or two before being trucked out to the dealers

Thanks. I was really beginning to wonder since its still sitting in Louisville as of 3PM EST. But at least now I know there's a chance it'll start moving again this weekend. It still has almost 900 miles to go to get to Tampa FL where it'll be unloaded and trucked another 180 miles before I'll get a glimpse of it.

A bit of good news. Train left Louisville for Jacksonville FL at 3:23PM today. That's a 767 mile stretch so I imagine it'll make many stops and take quite a while to make the trip; but I'm happy she's rolling again.

Speedtrap47--thanks for the CSX rail yard maps. Very interesting. I was wondering if the train would be delayed in the auto distribution centers in Tennessee or the one up the road from you. But as of 8AM EST today it's been on the road about 17 hours since leaving Louisville and hasn't stopped as far as I know; so maybe it's going non-stop to Jacksonville...I hope.

Tyson (Dirty D)--I loved the pictures. Car and stripes look great! Thanks for posting the pics. I'm feeling a little better about possibly getting the car before Christmas. The dealership general manager told me he's contacting Chevy's District Manager to see if they can get it "hot shipped" from Tampa to Naples FL. I hope that works out. With any luck, the car should make it to Jacksonville today and Tampa tomorrow.

Hang in there Jerry, I stopped at the dealer to see my car and they had the dash torn apart but the top was down and it looked really good even dusty. I know yours isn't at the dealer yet, but really mine is just as far/close as yours. And I agree Dirty D's car looks better in every pic. You will be driving her soon.
