Super charger..
Which would you suggest..
http://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-...arger-kit.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-...ercharger.html I want my engine to last, lol. I am worried the first one will blow the engine. What would it take to get this thing to compete with a GT 500. |

Get the first one, forged internals, and then get a suspension package.
The second super charger only makes up to 435 or something, which is far less than the 500 horses on the gt500. should trade in your car and get a gt500 unless you plan on spending at least 10 grand. |

Or, you could actually ask someone on a Mustang forum and get a whole lot more answers. Hmm....that's an idea.
Yep. I think they just might know a bit more about Mustangs and their superchargers than us folks on a Camaro forum. |

Thinking about mustangs is not what I joined this forum for and I think your number are skewed with the 1 in 4, maybe you should start a new thread and poll and find out. I appreciate mustangs for what they are as a part of american muscle car heritage...but atleast be in balance, it's a sad day in the lovely world of mustang when fans have to come to a camaro site to find out info about their cars.

And there are plenty of good mustang sites, there's no need to raise tensions on a camaro forum with mustang tech. |

Either way id suggest doing bolt ons and internals before going with the S/C

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Exactly what I needed. Thank you - people act like super chargers are only made for Mustangs. It was a super charger question!

I would go with the second one if you want it to last....
That being said, i woudl also check out the STS Twin Turbo systems, they will have it for the 2010 model very soon. It makes GREAT power, and you can control the boost so that your motor will last!! One last option would be the procharger system...They are also great. Check them out. I have used both, I have had success with both, and I sell both to my customers on a regular basis!!! |

btw either one is good...your just going to have to run low psi until you decide to forge the internals ect ect....low psi has been used on stock engines for years and is fine and doesnt wear your engine down too bad.
but like someone else said get everything else aka full bolt ons and then get a supercharger. |
