Great numbers
Your L99 must have really liked temperatures in the mid 70s today in Rochester N.Y. |

I don't get some of these bogus numbers people are posting. How can you say it gained 17 HP, when the tuned numbers you posted only show 10?

He's talking about in the mid range (5200 rpms). Its very common for the L99to make 20 rwhp/20 lb ft+ of torque in the mid range from a tune.

At 331 factory rwhp, you got a good "properly tuned" one, 9c1ny. Thanks for letting us know they're out there.

We are located in Rochester, NY. Actually, if you look at the bottom of the sheet, you can see the run conditions, it was between 86-89 degrees in the shop while I was tuning, ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) was 195 degrees(+/- 3 degrees) every pull.

Yes I have. You can expect 10-15 rwhp from the tune, never know, they are all a little bit different.

That makes sense about the weather. It does get a lot warmer in the shop. When it was in the low 90s, my dyno readings were showing 100 degrees.
Because yesterday was a pretty cool day (for summer in the U.S.). Here's the stats for Rochester N.Y. yesterday. I can only imagine how nice tempertures in the 70s with relatively low humidity would feel. I'll have to wait until late November for a day like you guys had yesterday. 9:54 AM 68.0 °F 60.1 °F 76% 30.00 in 10.0 miles SSW 8.1 mph - N/A Partly Cloudy 10:54 AM 71.1 °F 60.1 °F 68% 30.01 in 10.0 miles WSW 4.6 mph - N/A Partly Cloudy 11:54 AM 73.0 °F 59.0 °F 61% 30.01 in 10.0 miles SW 8.1 mph - N/A Scattered Clouds 12:54 PM 75.0 °F 55.0 °F 50% 29.99 in 10.0 miles SW 9.2 mph - N/A Scattered Clouds 1:54 PM 75.0 °F 55.0 °F 50% 29.99 in 10.0 miles SSW 8.1 mph - N/A Mostly Cloudy 2:54 PM 77.0 °F 55.9 °F 48% 29.98 in 10.0 miles WSW 12.7 mph - N/A Scattered Clouds 3:54 PM 78.1 °F 55.9 °F 46% 29.96 in 10.0 miles SSW 9.2 mph - N/A Scattered Clouds 4:54 PM 78.1 °F 57.0 °F 48% 29.94 in 10.0 miles SW 11.5 mph - N/A Mostly Cloudy |

Did your tune include any reduction in torque management? Also, did you get rid of AFM? How much was the tune if you don't mind my asking? I have an alumni reunion at RIT in October so I may have to stop by...
