SuperchargedSS's 416/YSI build
Long awaited build is finally rolling.
After much discussion we have a plan and parts are here. Changes this year Take old block/rods and went with a 4" compstar crank and Diamond coated pistons. Old heads were junk so we sourced another stock set and installed the old aftermarket exhaust valves and new stainless intake valves. Springs were shimmed for a little more pressure to handle the boost. Cam is a Spec we did in the 231/245 range. Tranny is a TH400 with brake 9" rear with 3.70 gears YSI blower/ECS kit Squash return style dual pump setup with ID 1000's Alky control dual nozzle meth kit with trunk mount cell Motor will be 10.8-1 compression to take advantage of the YSI setup. We plan on running 93 octain and do a mix of 109 or so at the track for added protection. This is pretty much the basic to get going. Thanks to Matt from FSP for a good amount of the parts we got from him. Some pics of the motor going together. |

Well, that's makes me feel better about an ECS setup with 11.1 CR lol. Awesome build, can't wait to see the results.
