Tranny Tune after Gear Swap???

I drive a 2010 Camaro 2SS L99, I want to swap out my gears for either 3.73's or 3.91's while at the same time having my new Detroit Speed Suspension, new slotted rotors/breaks/steel break lines and Borla cat-back added. But in the future (less then a year) i'll be adding blower, either a 2.8LC by KB or a 2.9 by Whip.

My question is:
Do I need the tranny re-tuned after the gear swap or can it wait until I add the blower, I know the speedometer needs recalibrated but I don't want to have to pay for two tunes with in a years time.

I had 391s installed In may. My tuner took it out for a road test just to be sure about shift points and recalibrated the speedo. He said he made some minor adjustments but nothing serious. So I think if you car shifts right after the install you should be good. Maybe ask your tuner just to be sure.

Another thing to think of if you dont get it calibrated right off hand and you drive it as a DD your miles will rack up faster than what you're actually driving. Just food for thought.

That would be the best case scenario for sure,
I'm meeting with the shop that will be doing the entire project on Wednesday for a meet and greet. Hopefully we will be able to do the entire project in two phases so it wont hurt my wallet all at once..
Thanks.

A few questions for ya.
1. How do you like the 3.91's?
2. What tires do you have on?
3. Is yours a DD?
4. Not that I care about the milage but just out of curiosity, how much of a drop was it?

Thanks

No problem be happy to help.
1. I really like them they are imo the biggest kick in the pants as far as a mod goes that I've done.
2. I have Falken Aziens all the way around....295 40 20s on tbe rear.
3. No its not my DD but I do drive it as much as I can.
4. Mileage hasn't changed as much as I thought...I dont notice really any difference. In all honesty I am not light on the gas when taking off lol.And because I have a loud exhaust I notice it revs about 200 or so rpm higher at 70mph. After all is said in done im very happy with them.
