How do you not drive fast?

In all fun ans seriousness.... I love my 2000 Firehawk (4th gen trans am) and with 330 HP I thought the car was (and it is) fast and a blast to drive. I certainly have a hard time keeping to any speed limit (save for school zones & work zones).

Fast forward to the 2014 SS and this car is just insane fast and wicked fun to drive. I found myself going 56 in a 30 and then 80 in a 55 today. I've learned to ignore the HUD.

I am so going to get my a$$ in trouble.....

I hope the snow slows me down or keeps me at home.

I think when the lease is up I'll get a silverado. The new ATS V would be just as bad as the Camaro!

Maybe I should trade my wife for her Prius........

Its not possible! Just pick your spots and get a radar detector.

The V6 Camaro has about the same HP as your Firehawk.....

I have discovered that by not pressing so hard on that skinny pedal on the right, I do not go as fast....

You might just want to learn some self control, though once you get enough tickets that your car insurance payment exceeds the payments on your car, you'll possibly catch on and understand that responsibility has far more life rewards.

I must have lead in my foot. I can't keep it off that skinny pedal. I think I'll have my wife drive me around all weekend long! (in the camaro of course)

I haven't had a speeding ticket since 93.

This week has been a little out of control over all though. I don't usually drive quite this fast. But still, it's to much fun to drive.

The day that I first drove home in my Camaro, I didnt realize I was going 70 in a 50 mph zone. 0-60 just comes so much quicker than my old corolla, plus the camaro has an infinitely smoother ride.

brick under the gas pedal..

---

in all seriousness, I spent my youth driving fast and have paid the fines and had the suspended licenses to show for it, at nearly 50 now speed is not a concern, I prefer to cruise with the top down and radio on and let everyone pass me..

I drive a modded cammed ss, Zo6 C6 corvette, modded 2011 sti, and am picking up a new toy tomorrow (will fill everyone in later on what). All my cars are fast and I enjoy them, shi* the only one I dont like driving is my lifted f250 diesel bc its stock (no programmer) and is boring.
Yes I have a escort 9500 ix and it comes in handy time to time. I am nearly always north of the speed limit (except for construction zones, bad weather, traffic, school zones, f***ed up roads etc. The hud does not help me neither lol
