well...GMMG might be out...wanted to contact them before sending money there and phone just goes to a voice mail and no reply to my e-mail...hawks 3rd gen has them for 750 but want to then charge an extra 100 for shipping....

so what exhaust would you guys go with instead? loud mouth? i dont really want to spend an extra hundred on shipping.....

Flowmaster has always been my favorite for my gas powered trucks. Hopefully I can get some on the Camaro before spring!

I believe i have flowmasters on mine. Sounds pretty good at idle and low RPMs for a v6

I had a hooker cat back on my former TA. OMG, sex. It flowed awesome too. If my SS didn't have the optional SLP catback, I would order the hooker again.

Do not get Chokemaster, it's the worst flowing cat-back made for the car.

I'm thinking of going borla-mouth on mine.

TSP with Shorties, High flow cats. LTs done wrong will make the exhaust sound like a wet fart every time you turn the car off, not enough backpressure. Now if you did Kooks LTs/Y pipe, and maybe an SLP LM I then it would sound passable. Plan on pulling my whole kit, getting a TSP Y pipe, some good shorties, powdercoating everything, and just letting it go.

You get used to the drone..

i have the 2.5" SLP Y-Pipe on its way already, keeping stock manifolds/cats for a while longer still...

i really want that GMMG....and i might just pay the extra 100 to get it... but then i think...buy the hooker system and have some more money for more mods

so just spoke to the guy at Hawks and he is 99% sure GMMG went belly up and shipping will be around $130... he also mentioned that they get the exhausts from the same place that was making them for GMMG...i might have to go with this, i know i will kick myself if i dont but the shipping is freaking unreal...grrrrrr....

Thank you! I love this car!

I also solved my exhaust problem....i went with the Hooker cat back. The GMMG is beautiful and maybe in the future I will take a road trip and save the shipping charges but till then, the Hooker sounds great even if you add headers, something the LM has against it since i plan to do headers and dont want to redo the entire exhaust because of it.

Hooker was also WAY cheaper so now i can but some other things...some under hood stuff is in order!
