Needed: STOCK intake!

Hello Camaro friends,

I just moved back to SD from Florida where I got my camaro. Upon trying to register my car it turns out my Airaid intake never passed CARB approval so I need a stock intake to put back on so I can pass smog and register my car.

Dealership said $900+ for all the parts, or find one in a junk yard.

If anyone has their original sitting around after an upgrade I'd be more than willing to buy it off you!

its not really a CAI, but the stock intake/air box on the camaro. If that is what you have, can I buy it off you?

I'm waiting to hear back if my buddy still has my original in his garage. If not, I'll PM you, Ronnie to get the shipping details and what not.

Are you a Florida resident? If so, and you have a Florida license, it is my understanding that you can just re-register it in Florida, and you won't need to worry about complying with California smog laws. I am in the same boat, but I am registering my car for 2 years, right before I head to San Diego, and after that 2 years, I can just renew my Florida registration on-line. I've got long tube headers and window tint that would cause me some serious heart ache otherwise. Drilling holes in my bumper is not something I'm willing to do either, just to put a license plate on.

Post in the Cali section. I'm sure someone would lend you their factory air box to get you smogged. I'm in Temecula and if you want I'll meet you at my buddies shop and you can throw it on, smog and we'll pull it right back off. PM me if interested

I have my stock airbox if you're still in need. Shipping from Texas. Just make a reasonable offer and it's yours.
