Mods will be similar with 1 7/8 stepped LT's, Cam tbd.., Tune, then will break motor in a little before adding FI. "Might" go with a 1.9 TVS because I have read that guys with LSA's are getting more from the 1.9 TVS on stock cubes and pump than with switching out with the 2.3 & E-85..... I know, makes no sense, but the time slips don't lie, look up August 2013 article of GM High Tech Performance Will Dugas's CTS-V and see his simple build doing 9.76 @ 142 on a stock ported & pullied 1.9 LSA with worked WCCH stock heads, DP-D6 cam, Nick Williams 102 TB, 850cc inj, & of course the cherry of a mild 100 shot on 93 pump!! But hell, I might just send the heads to WCCH and cam it with all supporting bolt ons and just see how she runs, I should see 500+ rwhp with that set up and it should be fun to drive just like that!!! Maybe I'll have a 150 shot on tap with remote bottle opener for that occasional C6Z on the freeway. I have had FI cars with manuals making over 750+rwhp and they are just a complete handful and very difficult to get power down at those levels and are not very fun to drive, TRUST ME, I had more fun in my all motor NA 6-speed 530 rwhp LQ9 4th gen than I ever did with any of my 700+ rwhp FI manual cars, they were great for rolling burnouts @ 75 mph to 140 mph, but suck for racing, an auto will eat a manuals lunch @ those power levels |
