I ordered stage 1 brightness. I still have to get some resistors to install to stop the hyper blink problem. As far as the switchback thing, I'm kinda confused as to when they're suppose to be lit white.

They are supposed to stay white all the time and when you turn on your blinker they flash amber which makes them legal

Hmmmm that is weird so you already got your RS switchbacks! And I would also like to know what would be the equivalent to the stock brightness? Or at least the closest stage 1 or 2?

Yeah they were available online so I ordered them, but considering they aren't staying lit I really don't know what to think. If your look on there website the RS switchbacks are available.

Stage 1: Equal brightness as OEM factory bulbs, with the crisp, modern instant on/off of LED technology. Stage 2: Much brighter than OEM bulbs, with the crisp, modern instant on/off of LED technology. These are bright! The switchback stage 1 uses 30 amber and 30 white 1210 SMD chips, while the stage 2 switchback uses 60 dual-color 3528 chips |

We will have the RS-switchbacks available shortly. The shipment of product is expected any day now so I will update the thread and give you all more information as promised.
As far as the switchbacks functionality, They are designed to stay white when functioning as a running light and "switch" to amber when blinking as a turn signal and "switching-back" to white again to act as the running light. Our switchbacks have a timer built into the bulb to prevent the white from ever flashing with the blinkers. As many of you many already know, white blinkers are illegal. If you have any questions about which size your vehicle needs, or would like more information about the load resistors that have to be spliced in, please send me an email: contact@diodedynamics.com or feel free to call: (314) 205-3033 I often miss posts on some of these threads, but I will always work with you to make sure you are taken care of. Thanks everyone, Nick C.
