WOODWARD AVENUE DREAM CRUISE

I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE THIS HAPPEN!

THE THIRD SATURDAY IN AUGUST, DETROIT MICHIGAN.
WILL HOST THE 16TH ANNUAL DREAM CRUISE ON THE INFAMOUS WOODWARD AVENUE. CRUISE 16 MILES FROM FERNDALE TO PONTIAC, 9:00 A.M. TO 9:00 P.M.

AS LARGE A NUMBER AS POSSIBLE OF THE 5TH GEN
CAMARO'S CRUISE TOGETHER ALL IN ONE GROUP.

IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE IN THE DETROIT AREA THAT WOULD BE WILLING TO HELP WITH THIS AND KNOW WHERE ALL THE CARS COULD ASSEMBLE BEFORE THE CRUISE?

THIS IS A LONG WAY OFF, BUT I HOPE THERE IS SOME INTEREST OUT THERE AND ESPECIALLY OUR CAMARO5 MEMBERS FROM CANADA.

CHECK OUT THIS LINK IT MAY HELP YOU DECIDE.

You guys may want to see if you can make a contact at the Silverdome .... They have a ton of parking, and you could take Widetrack Dr. over to M1 ..... You would have to start in Pontiac though ....

There were a few (Gen5) at the last Dream Cruise. I was there for part of it. Mostly it seems everyone has a meeting place to hang out, because there are a TON of spectators. Then they will cruise out from there. If you look in the Great Lakes section of the forum there are a few different threads about it...

Woodward is DEFINATELY worth the trip.

Back in the days before privitization and corporate sponsorship, Woodward was awesome. It still is awesome, but too many people have their hands in that cash cow. Since 1999, Woodward has lost some home feel and zest, but still the best cruise anywhere.

If you plan on coming, we start cruising on Monday or Tuesday night the week of and it steadily grows each night. At least get in on Thursday and drive around and get a feel for the area. Friday after rush hour is awesome and Saturday is the official cruise.

I will be there as always next year.
