Sorry if this is reposted, but my dealer emailed me today and said the plant shutdown was two weeks. I though I heard it was only a one week shutdown? Please clarify. My TPW was 6/29/09, but my order status is still in 3400. So I am getting a little impatient.

The Impala line at Oshawa is 2 wks down but flex line making Camaro only one week- a couple plant workers on this site verified this. a lot of dealers don't know

Yeah I ordered mine in May and had to reorder so they need to get my paperwork going - Gezzzz and I thought a allocation was not a vacation but I was wrong. I had to switch dealers.

i called gm in canada because i had a tpw of last week also and no VIn yet, and they told me it was last week that they were closed and she looked it up in the computer and said it was getting built this week. so who knows whats going on...

The Impala line is down for a total of three weeks ( starts up again July 20th)

The Camaro Flex line is down this week only (July 6th) and starts up again next Monday morning (13th) at 6:30 am

Thanks super60 for the info. I am so excited to get my car, I am driving my wife nuts. When you see a CGM 2SS/RS come down the line hopefully its mine. Been saving $$$$$ and waiting for this car for couple years.
