I used the duplicolor hot tire paint pen. It's a pain in the rear to get it to work but it's pretty simple when it actually starts to work well. Just follow the letter outlines on the tires. You'll most likely have to order it online, I tried a few parts stores around town and nobody stocked it. I got it on Amazon. The whiteness doesn't stay forever as expected because of how dirty tires get but if you're just spending a saturday detailing your car or something it's a fairly quick thing to do while detailing.
