Drove CTS w/3.6L V6 - Holy Cow

I bought my wife a 2009 Cadillac SRX and it needed an extended stay in the prep area and for some accessories to be added. So instead of me having to wait a few hours they gave us a 2009 CTS with the 3.6L DI V6 w/A6.

So we run some errands and get lunch. All I can say is this motor is pure SEX. It idled so smooth the only vibration I felt was from the Bose audio system thumping away, I turned it off at a stop light and I thought the motor had shut off. This puppy is SMOOTH.

I went WOT a few time from 1st to 2nd and then from a higher gear down. This drive train is WORLD CLASS.

To any future Camaro V6 owner all I can tell you is the 3.6L DI V6 is world class and is a stormer. It's silky smooth and rev's all day.

You are going to love it. If any one ever says GM can't compete they are full of BS.

I drove the CTS AWD version with the motor and had the same reaction. Remember the CTS is heavier, especially the AWD version, then the Camaro.

If you read reviews of both the V6 and V8, it's always the V6 that get most of the raves. Apparently this engine is the shiznit! And they say the Camaro version of this engine is BETTER than the one used in the CTS!

Can't wait to drive mine!

Sucks that V6 buyers will be waiting longer than V8 buyers.
