Funny how everyone wants decel popping and I don't really like it. Since I got my Corsa Catback exhaust and CAI intake on my LS3, it pops like a fricken firework finale on the 4th of July.

Hey man i live in the bay area too. I have an L99 with the SLP LM1 (pretty much a muffler delete) and have had zero issues with the cops. The popping you seek is there every time.

Swap out the stock exhaust and tune out the AFM and you'll have a better sounding and performing car.

You can get some glasspacks for mufflers, drive in 1st gear rev up to your redline and let off the throttle and your exhaust will crack and pop until you burn out the glasspacks. Then it will just be loud and annoying. I do this on my motorycle (1000RR Honda) with a Two Bros. racing pipe, rev up to 13,000 rpms in 1st gear and let off it does more rumble than crack on my bike.

I have the Borla touring and an x-pipe..the sound is pretty clean when I step on the gas but not decel or raspy sound.

I have the QTP cut outs. Love the sound open and the ability to go stock on command.

a few issues, AFM! AFM! AFM! (going to tune that out very soon) AND one stopped working after 3-4 weeks. Taking it into the shop Wednesday to have it checked out. Hopefully loose wiring and not a failure of the QTP motor, actuator or valve. Luckily it stuck/stopped full open where I like them anyhow. Minor issue, I didnt get the oval low profile ones and I scraped mine once very lightly. May want to consider low profile ones if going that route especially if you are going to lower at all, my car is stock height still but Im a fat guy so...

Overall Im happy and would do it again nothing like going from silent to roaring in a few seconds. I just hope it doesnt turn into a warranty PITA with QTP that may make me change my mind.

That is one of the reasons I got cutouts! Well - each to there own.
