Depending on how the first few pulls go, we may lock the converter to see how that goes. It should give us a better estimate of what we are really putting down and let us pull from about 4000 RPM up. We suspect the torque is peaking just above 4000 RPM, so our estimate last time was probably quite a bit lower than what it was.
The tune I have right now is locking the converter at 40 MPH in 4-6 gear. That's been working fine on the street and I haven't seen tranny temps rise very much, so we may be good. However, the tranny cooler won't work as well on the dyno so we still aren't sure if it will be safe.

FWIW, high is supposed to be 61 degrees next friday (dyno day). Hope that holds true!
