29 Used 2010's

Hello. New member who's been lurking for awhile. Surprised to see so many listed by one Ebay seller. Texas Direct Auto.

They have a 2010 2SS/RS L99 CGM/Black with 565 miles and welcome suggestions on what a good price would be. Of course I'd have to pay to have it shipped to VA.

Don't they have any used cars in Va? I think I'd try to find one locally first.

But to your question, I'd look up MSRP on that car and take $5K off as a target price.

You should be able to get a fair shake locally.

Texas Direct is a huge Ebay seller and they have a pretty good rep. I agree that you should be able to find a very good deal locally. I follow Ebay pretty closely and sometimes Texas Direct pricing is as high as the price of a new one. There are now a ton of 5th Gen. Camaro's on the market now. If you buy used you need to know what a new one would cost before shopping. Be very willing to walk away and you will get your best deal soon.

They sell volume. Their goal is to push as many cars through as possible. This is why they stock a ton.

Thank you for all the replies. I've looked here and they're insanely high for a used one too. I just don't get these used prices. Heritage wants $37k for one with 6000 miles. I can buy a new 2011 through aaa for less. I'll probably just wait until the summer and order a new new 2012.

Long time lurker, but I just registered to post in this thread... I'm close to buying a new 2LT RS, but if I can get a used v8 with 1000 miles on it for about the same price, I may have to think about it... these seem like better prices than I've been able to find locally, assuming the reserve price isn't set extremely close to the buy-it-now price.

Thanks for brining this to my attention! Now I suddenly have SS fever, after fully convincing myself that the 2LT is the right car for me.

Texas Auto Direct buys from Big H and other auctions and takes in trades.
They do a good job of prepping cars and I know these folks pretty well.
They will stand behind their cars.
Now for for Price, everything is negotiable and if a C5 member wants me to stop by and take picks and put eyeballs any of their cars I would be happy to stop as I pass them every time I leave the office.

Many thanks for the offer. I may very well take you up on that--especially that low miles CGM.

Wow, Lbness! You rock. In fact, if there's a couple of us, you could do it in one stop. I've got my eye on the IBM they recently posted.
