Remember, it is a factory option just not available when we pre-ordered in Oct 08,

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that's pretty much impossible.

Why? That's what the numbers are showing if a purely stock LS3 generates ~370rhp and one with only the axle-back as a mod generates 402rhp.

370/426 = 402/x
x=36.84

Obviously not 40 exactly, but it's a substantial difference.

Note all LS3's are the same. Some will always be stronger. I've heard of race teams dyno 5 of the same dealer cars before they bought 1 or 2 to convert into a race car.

Also you have to keep in mind that with the low temps in the shop that day and the cool down time we had between runs also makes a difference. I didnt have my laptop hooked up, but Im sure the IATs were low enough that the PCM didnt pull much timing out. The other Camaros that have been on the dyno lately have all been in 95+ degrees shop temp.

Okay. So is there an advertised hp increase with the axle-back system? Just curious.

I thought that air temp would not make a difference on a Corrected dyno run.. I could see that making a difference on an uncorrected run.

That's what I would have assumed, which is why it seemed strange that it put out that much rwhp.

Im almost positive you CAN NOT gain 35+- rwhp from just an axle-back exhaust on one of these cars. These runs were CORRECTED SAE! The car must be built on a wednesday, a factory freak. We made 4 pulls. First was almost 390, the last was 402. All others that have come through have made between 365-380. There were cooldowns in between but...

The temp shouldn't matter all that much unless your dyno isn't using
SAE conversions. Most dynos already convert the numbers based on temp.,
humidity, and barometric pressure.
