Good news guys! I got the light to hook up to my unlock button! Will post more about it when I get a chance. But basically just tapped into the wire (for my gray) under the dash that is hooked up to the dome lights. Dome lights and knight rider come on.

A lot of people have been saying the range on the remote is terrible. I just installed my LED bar and the remote works fine from the driver's seat. Maybe a bunch of you got remotes with almost-dead batteries in them?

However, I didn't need to remove the two torx screws to get that plate off like you show in your video. All I needed to do was remove the six plastic clips and four 10mm screws; the plate came loose with the last bolt and I was able to shimmy it out and take it off completely.

A little update. The scanner has been in a year now. I replaced it about a month in because it is not water proof. I took hot glue and spit it in both ends and it has been perfect for a year. Still puts out light. Still works 100% I have gotten great feedback on it. I also put some under glow on the car. Ill post up a picture if I can find the night shot I took. It looks like Ill need to re-up my videos as i deleted a you tube account and I forgot the videos were on there. Ill fix that.

Not the best picture below but it does the job. Again this is not for everyone but it works perfect for me. I also got a set of Dominator D4 red/blue strobes for the front of the car. I left that upgrade off the forums as not to incite people to do something illegal. I use them at car shows and its a perfect fit.

Got this in the mail a while ago but, I have not had to install it. It is dim because on this video it connected to a 9 volt battery and doesn't have the 12 volts needed for full brightness.
I got it off ebay
