We'll just have to see how things go over the next couple days. I don't want to say too much here because I don't want to jinx it, but there's a particular later-year third gen for sale for the right price rather close to my location that I've got my eye on and if I did my math right, it will actually wind up cheaper than my current car too!

Yeah, I saw an 02 Camaro SS convertible, manual trans with like low 30k miles going for only $15,999 at a local dealership near me.

Nope, didn't work out... It had been wrecked and the frame was tweaked (the body had been excellently repaired, but the frame not so much)... I knew the price was too good to be true... Oh well, back to the drawing board.
