Question windshield wipers r wearing out

Hello my fellow camaro5 members,

Ive had my camaro for about 2 1/2 years. well it looks like the wiper blades are wearing out. i was wondering what is the best set of new wipers for my camaro?

On a DD they should be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on climate. Not sure about weekend toy. If it sits outside UV can help to break them down.

i live in south tx, where the rain comes once in a blue moon and the average heat is hundred degrees ......really has melted my wipers

I was about to say... i dont think we hardly use our wipers lol. But yes the heat can get to them. Replace them, then cover it with a car cover or park under a car port if possible. May help lengthen the life of the wipers.

Mine have 12k miles and are starting to streak and miss spots. The first time they were ever used was in april so they lasted about 7 months. Been on the car for 11 from factory.

Wipe them off with a wet rag and I think you'll find they are much better....filth slime muck builds up on them.

i see my originals are still on and its almost been 2 years, but i do also clean my wipers every time i wash the car
