LED 3157 bulbs

Anyone use them or the spider style ones yet? Trying to find something brighter for my tinted lenses. Any pics or info would help

Any status on this?

I just got the Spider ones and it was way to low. was looking to send back and get SMD 3157 ones. But Oracle just told me the LED in the break lights will burn out and dont get them. so they are taking them back. Dont know what to do now.

For the front blinker or tail lights? I use vlaed's in my front blinkers and are very bright. Mine are the 3157 switchbacks, white for drl and amber for blinker. Both bright.

Why would they burn out in the brake light? Led's are supposed to last damn near forever. Send them back and check vled's

I read a topic somewhere that you need to put some resistors in series in order to plug them into the brake lights. Or it was on a vendor's website. You should be able to find a set that would work though because, like the above poster said, LEDs last forever.

Yes this is needed for the break lights and require the use of a "Load Equalizer" in order to prevent "rapid-flash for turn signal

lol Thanks, Only changing them for less power. I like to leave on my running lights at cruz's and shows. everything had been changed to LED's just got these left.

I left my brake lights alone for the moment but I've got 3157 led smd whites for my front turn signals/parking lighs. Each bulb has like 96 leds on it or something crazy like that. I can see them flashing on signs and cars across a large intersection.

I bought mine from a place called USHD, they sell on ebay. $25 for the pair. oh and they had 68 leds each. I think I looked at the 96 led version and was worried about them fitting length wise in the housing so I went with the 68 version.

I'm considering these but I have concerns of being bright. I want at least same level as stock or brighter. Any feedback?

Half the brightness from stock. You wont light up highway signs nearly as well as with the stock ones.

I have a guy making me a special custom set of sequential tail lights with (i think) 96 LEDs in them for each bulb. When I get my stereo done in April, he will be installing them as well. I wish it wasn't 2 months away but I can't do any better.
