Race pedals - avoid this company

I never give a negative review , but what a nightmare. My wife asked me what I wanted for our anniversary ( 4/10/14) and I said aluminum race pedals. So I placed an order on 4/7/14 with AUTOVATION.NET in Raleigh , NC . Long story short, after many emails from me to Tony, I still don't have them. He does not communicate at all unless you threaten him with the BBB . There is no phone number on their site so I dialed the fax number on my phone just to see what happened. Surprize disconnected. So I emailed their tech guy email address js@autovation.net..bounced back undeliverable. Same with their marketing email address jw@autovation.net.

So I emailed all my correspondence between him and I to my credit card company today. I suppose we lost our $ 82.00 but it is worth a try to get the charge reverted if possible.

So buyer beware.

If you get things straightened out and your money refunded you might want to try a SRP. I went through them and had no problems and their customer service was great. I even had one pedal that I was not satisfied with and they had a new one shipped to replaced it within a few days.

Wow that is impressive. I made a note of SRP. That is how a company grows its business.

Thanks

Hopefully you get everything sorted out. SRP pedals are on my list to get also.

SRP is awesome, good people, great customer service, awesome product.
If you order through the website, your credit card is charged right away, but if you order over the phone, your card is charged when the pedals ship.

These pedal do more than just look great, they are very sturdily mounted and transmit vibration very well. You can feel what is going on with the car much better.

Also, check out their Heel Guard- looks great, can be ordered to match your pedals, and is quite functional.

I picked up the heel guard this year. I love it. Definitely saves the floor mats.

Looked on their site but no heel guard in sight. You possibly have a link for that?

Here ya go... it's at the bottom of the list on the left side of the screen on the site. Kind of hard to see.

Also, the heel guard can be made in any pattern. I got mine in grid to match my pedals.
