Is a Stall upgrade needed for l99 supercharged car

Do you need to upgrade the stall converter on a l99 for a centri
or roots superchargered car.was wondering what set up all the supercharged l99 guys are running.

my l99 is Maggie with 590 at the rear, tranny is tuned by livernois , 2c cam ,, stock stall converter,,, drives nearly like stock till you are on boost.. I also have a DSS aluminum driveshaft which was a major improvement over the stock shaft

Mild blower cam. A lot of people recommend upgrading it especially on a centrifical type blower.opposed to a roots style

IMO a stall is needed even stock lol.

Unless the cam is pretty aggressive, I wouldn't add a higher stall converter with a p/d blower. Especially a TVS. With a centri, I would if qtr mile/stoplite performance really matters to you.
