Any good looking bolts for the strut bar ?
Has anyone found a good looking set of bolts and washers to use with the OEM ZL1 strut bar?
I had a guy wrap me up a ZL1 strut bar in Carbon fiber for my 1LE but haven't been able to find a good set of bolts that will not only look good but will also be strong ebought to hold in place and not break . |

Get someone to make you a set of SS washers and use polished SS allen socket head bolts like this setup. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...01#post5143201

I had my stainless washers made at a local machine shop. He used 1" and parted them off about 3/16 thick. A little thicker than what you can buy at a hardware store. They look great. Cost SFA....

Yeah, don't use stainless steel. That's not NEARLY strong enough to take any actual abuse. Look for something 10.9 or better. If you can't find anything pretty, why not get a cover for them?
