Wtb 67 camaro
Hey guys, I have come across a 67 camaro I am wanting. Has new built big block engine and great body. Minor interior work needed and needs new paint job is all. Is 8,500 too much to pay for it ? Thanks, any help is appreciated!

Nope not these days. Sounds like a good deal.
You might run a check on the VIN just to see what options it had when it left the factory. |

For $8500 I guarantee you it needs more than minor interior work and a paint job. Unless there are thousands of pictures of the body work that was done and shows it being done right I'd go into it fully expecting to put another 15k into body work and paint.

does seem cheap, but depends on sellers circumstances and condition of things not readily able to see. i assume its a 396? is it SS/RS model? stick, auto? air conditioner or any other options like PW, tilt, etc? could be a good deal or a real headache. need to investigate more.

The guy just really needs to sell it. Has minor rust on front fender. But other than that it looks really good . All it needs interior wise are the two door panels, the rear panels and the headliner. Wiring is in good shape .

Whas the trim tag say? What are the numbers on the motor? Tranny? Rear? How do you know its an original big block? What kind of exhaust hangers does it have? Does it have a -2 bolt? Square or round radius rod?
My guess is its not an original bb ss or is in much worse shape than you think.

I figured it was gonna be a 427 car..
My buddy bought a 67 that was originally a 6cyl car. Someone made a drag car out of it. 454, 4 speed all the goodies. Told him he should have found a V8 car, because a purist will not buy it whenever he goes to sell it. |

Sounds to good to be true. I paid 13000 for a rusted out 67 rs/ss 4 speed with crazy options. Not orig motor. May of paid to much but I wanted it.

I have 22k in the body alone of my $900 roller. So if It is solid it "may" be a good deal.
