I just finished this a couple months ago and love it. Sounds like you have everything you will need for it. I got a killer deal on the diff, shaft, & driveshaft from a friend that upgraded to a Gforce 9". All in all it took me about 5 hours by myself on jack stands to get this done. Mine still has the 3.27 gears in it. Since this is primarily my daily driver I didn't want to go too crazy. I might swap gears sometime down the road.

Good luck with the swap!

I'm sure I will be asking you and many others questions about the install. Plan to do it next week if everything goes smoothly

Words of wisdom. I replaced mine with Pfadt's and I don't see any difference at all. Money wasted IMO.

Ok guys! Update time. Driveshaft, differential, and axles are here. Just need to grab the hubs and any thing else can people recommend? A part number for the hubs is somebody has would be nice. I want to make sure I'm buying the right ones.

Stay tuned for 1/4 runs after the install

In the process of buying a diff with 3.91s and bushing already installed...just gotta get hubs, driveshaft and those nuts.

What are others doing about a tune? Won't the speedo be off?

I have trifecta and just got back in touch with Vince for an update. I want to order these hubs/bolts, just making sure I have the right ones before I pull the trigger.

Don't forget the SS axles. I don't know what trifecta does. but once hp tuners is all set it should be easy.

Yea I may end up waiting for HP to install the rear end. I already have a lead on some axles just gotta meet up with a club member when we are both free and get them.

Yeah I heard back a few hours after my email was sent. It is Friday so I don't expect anything until next week.
