LS3 Engine Operating Temp
Where is your needle at when you drive your camaro? I am concerned because I am about 2/5 of the way up (Check the pic). I never reach the middle point on the gauge. Is this normal?

Anyone know if the new Camaro has a gauge that shows the actual temperature, or a nerfed gauge that is programmed to read "normal" almost all the time? (like the GTO and a lot of other recent GM cars)

Yes use the D.I.C. the other one is the on the console is the oil temp. Unless your car is different. My oil temp and water temp usually read about 200ºF

200 is normal, most likely the fan doesn't turn on until 205 as most other GM cars, if you are stopped the temp will go at least this high.
