Squeaky seat
Wondering if anyone has had problems with the drivers seat squeaking on bumps etc. The dealer was supposed to fix mine, but didn't. I will be taking it back in...it really annoys me.

Mine had a squeak very soon after I got my car in August and kept getting worse and worse. It was getting so annoying that I was really starting to get angry. About a month after owning my car I took it in.
Since then, it's been nice and quiet. There is a TSB on it. |

Mine are cloth and never have squeaked. Maybe it's something your leather is rubbing on.

i think its coming from the seat belt harness the metal thing that ou click your belt into if you juggle it it sqeaks alot at least for me.
what did the dealer do to fix the prob? |

After a hundred years of building cars, you'd think carmakers would have perfected something as simple as a seat. But seat problems (noises, loose mounting) seem to be really common these days and not just with GM. I think the suppliers are cutting back on seat quality and strength.

I have the same problem. I'm assuming you have the seat all the way back. Just move the seat forward about 1/8" and the sqweak will disappear.

same here. i can stand outside the car and rock the seat back toward the passenger side and back and it squeaks. i'll try movin the seat forward for a quick fix, but they've gotta fix it.

I do have the seat all the way back. I will have to try moving it forward a little.

There is at least one thread on the seat belt squeaking, the TSB said to add some grease/wd40 and it fixed the problem.

As someone stated earlier there is a TSB on it. Mine was doing the same thing about a year ago. I took it in and they fixed it.
