The cheapest route would be to have the stockers ported by texas-speed and run a decent sized cam. That is good for around 500 to the wheels on an m6 ls3 car with supporting mods of coarse (full exhaust, CAI, tune). I dont think the intake was touched on the texas-speed car and it made 500.
If you want to get over 500 you are going to have to spend the big bucks on some really good heads. I think the best on the market right now is probably the mast heads. I think they are around 2k...EACH. |

500WHP with 3800 lbs. = a low 11 sec. car. Do you really need anything more?

You can see in my sig what I've done and what I got....suspension and gears are next. The only time I need more power is when I'm reading the forums

Checkout my 500rwhp for $4000 thread. I have TSP 231/236 camshaft & PRC cnc ported LS3 heads on my car currently. It makes right at 500rwhp & can drive anywhere in the country with any driver!!
You can checkout my videos & sound clips also, we have tons of data for guys on this combo! It made 610 flywheel horsepower on the engine dyno & translated to 500rwhp in the car with TSP cat'd header & exhaust system! |
