Think GM might drop this into the baddest of bad Camaros (whatever that name may be)?

With just a little tunning, shouldn't 600hp be relatively easy to get out of it? Maybe just to "compete" (to put it nicely for Ford) with the GT500?

I'm sure someone will, but not GM. They are only making 427 of these. Well maybe GM might make a few and then auction them off at Barrett-Jackson..

Truly a legendary engine though.

Yeah, on this run....doesn't mean that they don't have another run later. Since all of these will be sold in '08, that leaves anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 years before a "top dog" Camaro will be out....plenty of time to bring out the tooling again and have another run of these engines.

IF a new Camaro comes from the factory with a 427 it will be the LS7. And we know that that's pretty much not going to happen so I'd but the odds of this 427 being in there are some place between slim and nill
