I've had the Hawk Ceramics for over 31,000 miles. The pads are almost like new. They have never squeaked. When installing one needs to follow the proper bedding proceedure.

I have followed the correct procedure . We install 1000s of brake rotors and pads every year . They are just squeaky brakes . If your hard on the brakes at all they squeak . Every set of hawks weve installed the customer has come back . They are just not well made .

Not sure why this is a problem? Just wash the car after using it? Theses wheels are easy to clean inside with lots of room for a rag and your hand.

What he said above!

When finished driving for the day I use a large spray bottle with about 4 drops of Dawn detergent in the bottle. Spray it on and wipe off excess with microfiber towel. I always take the time to make sure they are clean. It takes about 5 minutes.

My wheels would be covered in dust again by the time I got home from the car wash. The Hawks solved it.

I have had them on for about 3 months and not one squeak. Maybe folks shouldnt be riding their brakes so much.

I installed the Hawk yellows on my ZL1, performed the break-in procedure listed, and mine don't and have never squeaked.

you must make sure to use the lube included on the backs of the pads.

Break squeak indicates that something is vibrating.
Sometimes the stock shims get tossed with the pads, and new ones are not installed.

I am definitely happy with the switch to the Hawk ceramics. Mine squeak on occasion when they are cold, but once they are warmed up they are quiet. The reduction in dust is worth it and the performance isn't too much worse than stock.

The Hawk Ceramics are great pads for anyone no tracking their cars and looking for less dust. They are also very quiet if you break them in properly. Let me know if I can answer any questions and get you setup.

Best regards,
