2014 Ram 1500

Anyone have any experience with these trucks? I ask because I have never owned anything but Chevy and Ford and I need to go back to a truck. Love my camaro but the car is nothing but problems and the dealership i bought it from knew it was a problem car. Ended up in Prescott AZ this weekend and found a beautiful all blacked out ram. That and I cant fit a motorcycle in a camaro. Im not asking what you think would be better but if anyones had experience with the new rams. Thanks in advanced!

They are great trucks. Anybody that says they are junk are only fan boys holding on to days gone by. You won't go wrong purchasing one. I do however have to give the F150 a slight edge because they offer a locker. I have always bought Chevys for the same reason, but they just keep getting uglier and uglier to me. So I have to stay away from 1500 versions. The 2500 still looks good though.

Last time i owned a gm truck was 06. Too me they do keep getting uglier. My f150 was amazing. My family hates all brands but gm. To me i am indifferent unless its not American.

2 of my buddy's bought '14 rams in the last 2 months. They are really nice trucks and they both had '10 rams before hand. They really like the '14s, one has the air ride suspension too. Kinda neat.

That said, I bought a '14 f150 last week and couldn't be happier.

I had a '12 Hemi Ram 4x4. Awesome truck, wish I could have kept it but it was thirsty..... Traded for a new 4door Jeep Wrangler, which I found out was also thirsty.

yea cant go wrong with a newer Ram truck and also they also have a Diesel option for it so it gets 28mpg on the hwy but if you want the Hemi its not that bad either as it does switch to V8 to V4 when not need all the power.

I would have to agree. The Ram is just awesome looking IMO. I don't think I have ever seen a new Ram that looks bad. I can't say that for any other truck.

for me in the looks dept it goes

RAM
Sierra
F-150
Something else
Something else
Silverado

I know a few people that have had Dodge trucks and they love them. Trucks is one of the few things you can't really go wrong with if you get one from Ford, GM or Ram.

I like them at below invoice prices but not for what some dealers are asking.

I've gotten a few of my friends and family to buy newer Ram's. My one buddy bought a new 2013 Ram Hemi Express (20's, body colored bumpers and grille) 4wd, quad cab for $25,xxx. A family member of mine got a 08 Ram 1500 Big Horn (Hemi, 20's, fog's) 4wd, quad cab for $27,xxx with that special Lifetime power train warranty they were offering at the time. Not like its needed it because nothing has gone wrong with it.

For a 1500 like this one and its only $24,243

2014 Ram Hemi Express
4x4
Quad Cab
Hemi
20" wheels
8 speed auto
3.92 gears
tow package

Or this new 2014 Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel for half ton money...$35,108

That's debatable. Personally i'll take a proven 5.7 hemi V8 with MDS over a twin turbo V6 all day long. As a QC inspector i would put the fit, finish and reliablity of the new Rams vs anything out there. Op go test drive a Ram Sport crew cab with the sport hood its the sexiest truck on the road today imo. You will fall in love with it.
