Ok, so what will my sticker price be for a '16 1SS, 1LE, 6spd manual, with Recaros and dual mode exhaust? Just the performance options please!

After reading recent threads, let's say the 1LE handling package will come with Magnetic Ride Control and ZL1 level brakes, upgraded tires, strut tower brace, and maybe an oil or trans cooler. How much might this package cost?

So, let's guess a price for the following...

'16 Camaro 1SS 6spd manual...
1LE handling package...
Recaros...
Dual mode exhaust...

Sticker under $40,000? Meh, I didn't think so...

Where do I sign?

Id guess right at $40k. Recaros being a $2k+ hit.

I built a '15 with those exact specs on Chevy's website and it came out to $40,890. Depending on how much the price goes up, I think you'll be looking around $43k.

Don't think 1le will be available 16 maybe 17 or 18 seeing as how5th gen didn't get it the first year.

price diff probably will be +2k

GM seems to be holding prices at the entry level, but adding new content and features to drive prices up at the top end, hence the new $75,000 Suburbans.

My guess is the pricing will be consistent with the Mustang.

40k. the price will rise by 750$ to 1000$??

pretty shure the option --1LE--will stay as long as there is a demand.

I do. I don't think GM can wait a year with the GT350 (about) 6 months away.

I don't really see how that's relevant. They aren't going to be direct competitors. The 1LE will be 10k less.

Well, for one, I doubt the Camaro will have the 6 speed manual. Another issue is many people seem to think the 1LE package won't be coming back.

Camaro can't stray too far from Mustang.

c7 corvette has the z51 option,6th gen mustang has the GT PP... i would assume they would continue with the 1LE option on the 6th gen, maybe even opening it up to be able to equip a v6/4 cylinder camaro with the 1le option

I wonder if they'll wait for the new ZL1(wic) to hit the market first, so they can pull from it's parts bin to make a proper 1LE. That way it's a proven and cohesive kit. But then again, maybe not because the alpha chassis has bits to pull from the Cadillac performance line.

This is the path Ford should have taken with the GT-PP, wait for GT350 to hit production then offer a PP based of the 350's parts list.

I had the oportunity to ride both around my neiborhood, a 1LE camaro and a GT PP... and the GTPP is awful compared to the 1LE, the brakes are not as good as the 5 gen brembo.. and the rear moves like jelly in every corner... I really disappointed of the GT... at this point it was just a small ride so I cannot talk much about the GT performance skills, step aside the GT is really comfortable inside
