Noise reverb back @35 mph
Hey all,
Tonight I was driving home through some neighborhoods at 35 mph, and there were walls, etc. on either side of the road. I had the window down and moonroof open, and I noticed a squeal/squeaking reverb bouncing back to me from the walls. When I hit the brakes, the noise would stop. I have less than 18K on the odo and am under warranty. Ideas? Thanks! Jason

Squealing noises can indicate a serpentine belt issue, especially at low speeds/rpms. I just had mine replaced about a week ago for the same thing.

Jason,
It's hard to speculate on the origin of the sound, but a GM certified technician at a GM dealership would be the best source for an official diagnosis. If the issue winds up being a result from a defect in materials or workmanship, then the bumper-to-bumper warranty would cover the repairs (if in effect). Can I set up an appointment for you to have the vehicle inspected at a local dealer? If so, please private message me with your zip code and the VIN of your Camaro! William R. Chevrolet Customer Care
