F8 trunk fuse pull
I want to try this tonight, but I am deficient in any sort of handy-man skills. Couple questions:
1. Do you need tools to get the trunk lining out and back together? 2. Will I be cleaning the exhaust tips every other day after the fuse pull? Thanks guys! |

A pair of pliers, preferably needle nose, but I didn't have that so I used a pair of scissors. Was easy

I only had to remove the three cargo net screws on the passenger side (not all six). They were very tight from paint on the threads and I had to use pliers to unscrew them. Otherwise very simple.
I will not be putting the fuse back in due to the smile factor. |

Very easy to do and number #4 above gives excellent pics/instructions. I went with the "Mild to Wild" option, but I never really even use the remote. I've had them open since install! Love that Sound, heck I drive mostly without even turning on the radio! Especially now with the Roto Fab CAI! Just what a girl needs - More Power! Oh yeah, the neighbors know when your coming home! For Sure

Yes, they are the same. I had the fuse out with the stock exhaust and I didn't think it was all that loud. Once I put the Kooks headers and high flow cats on it was obnoxiously loud at cruise and part throttle and I put the fuse back in.

Update: The fuse pull took me 10 minutes. I love it! But I would only do it if you're the type that likes a burbling, grumbling, low tone exhaust note emanating from the back of your bada$$ american muscle car!

Fuse Pull question
I have a 2012 ZL1 with a Borla Atak Catback Exhaust. The fuse pull only works on the NPP Exhaust kit right? I don't see any flaps in my current exhaust so I assume they stay open regardless. Just making sure in case anyone knows. Thanks
