I got to drive the Camaro SS (Thanks to RobbRock)

Hello fellow Camaro enthusiasts. I have always wanted to drive a Camaro SS ever since it became available in the market just like all of you. Thanks to RobbRock, who has really helped have more love and excitement for this car, I was able to take out his 2SS for a spin. Did I like it? No I did not like it. I LOVED IT. I know now what car I want right after a graduate from college. (Cant still decide on color though)

When Driving the Car, I really thought GM outdid themselves. It was so fantastic, I could not believe I was driving a muscle car. The Interior was very high quality, the seats were were super comfy and the exterior was badass. The particular Camaro I was driving had a GFX kit on, and that really made the car stand out.

When I was taking my first of 2 test drives, the most memorable moment to me was when a Toyota Thundra driver stopped dead in its tracks to stare at the car. I was laughing my head off because I never expected to get this sort of reaction from Thundra owners. After I parked the vehicle at my house, The Thundra owner came around the house 2 times to get a good look at the car. BOY WAS THAT FUNNY

My second trip with Robb's SS was a bit longer, but it was more fun. When we took a different street to test drive it on, there were a group of kids my age just standing around. When I drove past them, They all started to stare and drool and a few gave me a thumbs up . Ill tell ya, this car does gets its share of attention.

When I drove the car, the roaring of the V8 was simply magnificent. I mean such a roar would certainly scare off any Mustang and Challenger. One thing I was concerned about was the heat from the engine entering the cabin of the Camaro. I never drove a V8 so I wouldnt know if it was normal, but if it is, how do you get rid of it? Beyond that , I had a wonderful time, and I certainly look forward to a purchase of a 5th gen Camaro real soon.

I made a video about my experience.

Hope you all enjoy and I hope you comment about the heat issue that enters into the cabin from the V8. I would like to get some info about it.

Thanks for reading and Thank you Robb..................

Floor was fine, it felt like the heater was on because it was coming through the vents. I guess it's not too bad because you can close the vents. I just want to know if other people notice it.

I'm glad to hear that you want to buy one after you finish school. Where do you go to college at?

Cool. Are you sure you didnt have the heaters on or the fan blowing. Usually in my magnum, if I roll the window down and come to a stop light I can feel the heat on my face from the engine but windows up I dont notice the heat. Not sure if it should be vented through the vents like that. Dont have a answer for you maybe someone with HVAC knowledge can answer this.

I heard him say the A/C wasn't on. Was it hot outside, cause if so, chances are you were just getting outside air in through the A/C ventilation, in addition to some of the engine heat.
