It's been my experience that the ones that talk the most smack are the ones getting pwned by the end of the game... That being said, I play to have fun and don't give 2 damns about my K/D ratio.

Until CSRs come out, K/D is pretty much the most accurate representation of skill in a slayer game. So with a 1.81 KD ratio in slayer, clearly not getting pwned.

I agree. K/D ratio is one of the most important factors of overall combat effectiveness in gaming. It assesses and balances both your ability to make kills and survive. Both of these factors (especially in slayer modes) have a direct impact on points won and points lossed.

Although from my MLG competition game days, there is no better assessement of skill than a 49-49 tie, holding the sniper rifle, with one bullet left

Having fun > K/D ratio

I'll admit I'm not a great player and my K/D is a measly .8 ... but like I said, I care more about having fun than destroying people.

However, it seems that whenever I hang out and meet other Halo players, they always start saying "oh yeah lets play, I'll destroy you" to which I respond "Ok cool, I'd love to play some Halo" at which point I somehow proceed to trash them. Maybe I've just gotten lucky and met a bunch of crappy players with big mouths?

correction. i had a 1.85 yesterday. Had a bunch of bad games last night and KDR took a dive. reading the post on halo, I decided to install halo waypoint on my galaxy3S and it says I'm at a 1.45

Damn, didn't think it had dropped so much after a day, but i'm at the beginning point where with as few games as i have (14 hours of play) a few bad games hurts KDR like a mofo.

You know what that means tho... a weekend of pwning kids to get it back up!

When you add, just leave a text saying Cam5 so i know who you are. I get a lot of scrubs try to add me that play with me in matchmaking and then want to 1v1 because they get mad or something
