are going to keep your 5G Camaro after 2015?
hello to all Im just want to make a simple question.
Anyone here are planning to keep their currents cars for long future? I made this question because because I heard many mustang owners are going to get rid of their cars to get the new gen... also most of people here in the states change cars more often than socks... and just want to know If someone decided to change their camaros for the upcoming G6 or keep her for a long time for your personal collection? BTW... some one just notice that is getting harder to find good V8 F-bodys in good conditions at a good price? why its happening that? its not supposed the prices to go down every year the car becomes older and older?

Hard to say. Guess it depends on how much I get blown away by the G6, colors (GM, I swear if you don't give us a medium blue......), and options of course. We shall see. I'm very happy with my 2010 2SS/RS, but I am not opposed to trading up.

Yep, in for the long haul. That is what happens when you jump from one Camaro to another in a very short of time!!

I cant wait for the G6. Theres a G5 now on every corner and they are becoming like how I felt about the mustangs a dime a dozen and every kid is back yard modding. I have a feeling I will be getting into new again. I think the gen5 has brought back interest in older camaros. This is what youre noticing? I have a gen3 and I have seen a jump in interest and value.

Yes. Keeping it. I wanted a 2010-13 because I liked the concept car as it inherited so much of the 1st gen. I had only one Camaro before this decades
ago. A 1969 Z/28. I have not been interested in any other Camaro from '70 on and was not interested in the design change for the 2014. I even wanted the 2010-12 wheels instead of the 2013-14 wheels. Last edited by SS PANTHER; 04-14-2014 at 05:15 AM. |

My 2013 SS vert isn't going anywhere. Very long hall. Told my wife I expect to still have it in 20 years. Plans can change but I think it is unlikely. I'm not big in changing cars.

3rd gens are just coming to that time bracket where they're classic and AFFORDABLE, and the generation that grew up with them are looking for some of their youth. Every generation hits that mark. I'm content with the 2010 for the moment. A gen6 would have to be pretty special to want to jump on the bandwagon early.

I'm curious to see what the 6th generation brings, but the 2011 is here to stay for a couple decades.
Doesn't mean we won't add more to the family though if the right car comes along

I guess it depends on how blown away I am, but I'll have a hard time getting rid of her. Every time I look at her I can't believe she's mine.

My 2012 is a keeper.
But I'll consider adding a 6th Gen to the garage once I see and drive one. |

That's too far away for me to worry you about. I'll probably have the new Mustang before the next top camaro. It just depends on when they both release their fast models.

I kept my last Camaro for 15 years (daily driver, as is current one), so I'll be holding on to my 2012 for a while--as long as I don't have any major problems with it and I still like driving it.
