"The Shop" Finally - Page 20 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well we had a good day...sorta. Spent three hours cleaning up after the contractors so that part sucked. However we did get the lift bolted in, still need to wire and plumb in the hydraulics will get that done in the morning. We has to massage the concrete a little to get it perfectly flat, man I love my big grinder!
I think out of the whole shop the 25' x 23' where I can work on my cars is the most exciting.

Also got the kids Basketball goal up.....they are really liking the shop now!

Thanks Stratman! Post up some pics of yours, seems like I can never get to much when it comes to garages, or cars, or racing.......ah heck I just love this whole automotive thing!

Despite the lack of updates we are getting a lot done. They should have the shop floor all grouted this next week. It will take a little time as they will have to use black on the black tile and white on the white tile, so lots of tape.
We got the Moduline cabinets in today, hopfully we can get them installed this next week, if the race deck gets here.
All in all we should wrap this thing up this next week. I will post up pics when things start getting finished.

Now we're talking! Got all of the race deck but the cuts around the lift in and down. Was too excited about the cabinets to take the time to get them cut on Sunday.

Also got if the Moduline cabinets, they are all installed now but I only have a pic of the short wall. I will try to get a couple of pics of all of them once we get the floor cleaned up. Man I am drooling about shopping for enough tools to fill these puppies up.

Mike, you have Pete speechless.. not even a smiley... I wasn't sure that could be done.

Shop is looking incredible.. Those cabinets are beautiful! I will need to bring the wife by so she can see the 'man cave'. Maybe she'll let me have one like it some day...

All I can do is hope.
